French racer Solenn Amrouche is set to make her single seater debut in 2025, as she joins Lamo Racing Car at the wheel of the Formula Regional Tatuus, in the Ultimate Cup Series.

Amrouche made her full time debut in sportscars in 2023, mainly competing in endurance competitions with French team Vortex.

With a strong season, she was vice-champion in the Spanish GT Championship in the GPX category in 2023, having claimed eight podiums, four class wins and an outright victory.

At the same time she also contested select rounds of the Ultimate Cup, Endurance GT Touring Challenge.

Daughter of fellow Vortex driver Lionel Amrouche, with whom she often shared the car, Solenn started her career in karting, before moving up to Mitjet and Fun Cup. She then raced part time in ROSCAR and, after testing the Vortex V8 machine for the first time, she made her full-time debut in 2023.

In 2024, Amrouche stepped up her racing programs, announcing campaigns in Ultimate Cup GT Sprint, her sophomore season in the Spanish GT championship and select rounds of the competitive Creventic 24H Series.

She finished fourth in the class standings despite a part-time campaign in the Spanish-based GT-CET, making strong steps forward, improving in both sprint races and the endurance format - as she entered her first 24-hour races. After a second place in class in Portimao in the 992 AM class, Solenn emerged victorious at the 24H of Barcelona in the GTX category.

The young Frenchwoman is now ready to tackle a new challenge: her single seater debut.

She will in fact enter the Ultimate Cup Series in the Formula Cup, where she will pilot the Tatuus Formula Regional car operated by Lamo Racing Car.

"I am more motivated than ever to learn and surpass myself in this new category", Amrouche commented, having had the chance to test the car over the last few weeks. "After a great experience in GT, where I had the honor of winning the title of Vice-champion of Spain GT with Vortex, I am now looking towards new challenges."

"I am proud to announce that I am joining Lamo Racing Car for this 2025 season", she stated. "I can't wait to start this adventure with them and give the best of myself on each circuit!"

The 2025 Ultimate Cup Series season features six rounds on some of Europe's most iconic racetracks, starting from Circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France on 28-30 March, before heading to Mugello and Portimao. Motorland Aragon will host the fourth round after the summer break, with Magny Cours and Paul Ricard rounding out the season.
