Swedish driver Siri Hökfelt will return for her third year in the NXT Gen Cup after two strong seasons in the series, which will once again support the DTM championship on four weekends this year.

The fully electric NXT Gen Cup has delivered exciting racing and provided a great platform for young drivers over the past two years. As a support series for DTM, the championship gives rising talents the opportunity to compete on iconic tracks like the Nürburgring and Hockenheimring, both of which have previously hosted Formula 1.
The series was launched in Sweden in 2023 and, in its debut season, expanded internationally with races in Oschersleben and at the Nürburgring as part of the DTM support package. It continued its partnership with the popular German GT3 championship in 2024 and will remain on the DTM support bill for four race weekends this year.
“I love that the focus in NXT Gen Cup is so heavily on driver development. I feel like I improve with every race – it’s the perfect school", said young Swedish racer Siri Hökfelt, ahead of the 2025 season.
Hökfelt will in fact return for a third season after making significant progress in her first two years of racing. The young Swede finished her debut season as the best-placed female driver overall in 2023 and continued her upward trajectory in 2024. Now, she is aiming for top results and podium finishes in 2025.
“During the off-season, I've trained intensively both physically and mentally and spent plenty of time in the simulator. I feel fully prepared for the new season. My goal for 2025 is, of course, to learn as much as possible while also aiming for podium finishes."
