New Zealander Madeline Stewart is set to return to JDX Racing for a second season in Porsche Carrera Cup North America, continuing her motorsport career in the United States.

After making the move to North America in 2023, Stewart joined JDX Racing, first competing in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, where she finished third in the 992 class standings.

She then stepped up to the fiercely competitive Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2024, where she completed her rookie campaign with a 15th-place finish in the championship standings.

Stewart quickly adapted to the series, securing her first points in Montreal with a 13th-place finish in Race 2. Her breakthrough weekend came at Road America, where she claimed a seventh-place result, marking the start of a streak of four consecutive points finishes.

She returned to the top ten at Road Atlanta and ended the season on a high with two more points-scoring performances at Circuit of the Americas for the season finale.

Returning for 2025, Stewart will build upon her experience with JDX Racing, benefitting from continuity with the team and familiarity with the tracks on the calendar. She will also continue as part of the Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program.

“I’m really excited to be back with JDX Racing for another season and to continue building on the progress we made last year,” Stewart said.

“Last season was all about learning—getting comfortable with the car, the tracks, and the level of competition."

"Now, with that foundation in place, we’re setting bigger goals and pushing to be even more competitive every weekend. Having now raced at every track on the calendar, I feel much more prepared, and that experience will be a big advantage. The team has been working hard in the off-season, and I know we have everything we need to take the next step.”

The season kicks off at Sebring International Raceway from March 12-14 with a doubleheader supporting the IMSA Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Prior to that, Stewart will take part in the official series test at Sebring in early March.

JDX Racing has been a frontrunner in Porsche Carrera Cup North America since the series’ inception, earning multiple wins and championships across the different classes. The team remains committed to supporting Stewart as she continues her development in one of Porsche's most competitive one-make series.

“We’re thrilled to have Madeline back with us for a second season in Porsche Carrera Cup,” JDX Racing team principal Jeremy Dale added. “Carrera Cup is the most difficult and competitive GT development series in North America, and Madeline worked very hard last year to improve and was able to continuously learn from the start of the season. There were so many times we could see the huge potential she has, and that was proven in her results. We are planning for another leap forward straight from round one in 2025.”

Stewart is the third of four drivers confirmed for JDX Racing’s 2025 campaign, joining Sabré Cook and Paul Bocuse in the team’s lineup.

The 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season will feature 16 races across eight weekends, including high-profile events supporting Formula One in Miami, Montreal, and Circuit of the Americas. Stewart’s season will be supported by JDX Racing partners Byers Imports and Porsche Columbus.
