Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America will have an all female duo in 2025, as RAFA Racing Team will field the #81 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2 for Lindsay Brewer and Jem Hepworth, competing in the AM class.

The 2025 season of the Lamborghini one-make series - the 13th season of the North American championship - is set to kick off at Sebring International Raceway, in support of IMSA, with an over 30 car field entered across the four classes.

RAFA Racing Team has been a disruptive force in sports cars, with its founder and driver Rafa Martinez expanding his presence and impact in both North American and European championships. The team has always championed female presence since the very beginning, with a driver shootout at the end of 2023 that eventually awarded a funded seat in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America to Caroline Candas.

Its European operation included British racing talent Jem Hepworth - one of RAFA Racing Club's first driver ambassadors, who started her journey in the team alongside Martinez himself in the McLaren Trophy Europe in 2023. In 2024, Hepworth graduated to the uber-competitive European GT4 Championship, teaming up with Cameron Lawrence in the McLaren Artura GT4.

Competing in the Silver top-class, the duo made remarkable progress over the season, with Hepworth often battling towards the top of the 50 car grid, holding her own and collective very valuable experience. She scored her first points at the third round in Spa Francorchamps, where she was eleventh in Race 1 - before an outstanding Race 2 saw the British driver holding for most of her stint the overall lead, ultimately finishing fourth overall.

She returned to the top ten in Monza, with a tenth place that gained her 19th in the drivers standings.

Hepworth was Brit Car champion in 2020 and raced the Praga prototype until 2023, when she was protagonist of the inaugural edition of the McLaren Trophy Europe, where she was one lap short of securing the title in the 570S class due to a technical issue.

The 24-year-old is now set to make her debut in Lamborghini Super Trofeo, in what will be her first full-time racing season in North America; she will share the #81 car with Lindsay Brewer, 27, who returns to competitions after a part-time campaign in Indy NXT - Indycar's top feeder series.

"Stepping into the world’s fastest single-make series is a challenge I’m ready to take on, and I couldn’t ask for a better team to do it with", Brewer commented. "Huge thanks to Lamborghini Austin for their support in making this happen."

Brewer moved up the ranks of karting in the US and, while she took a break from competitions to pursue her studies, she made her race car debut in 2021, racing in the SRO TC America series, as well as in the Skip Barber Formula Race Series, where she honed her racecraft. Lindsay joined Exclusive Autosport in 2022, tackling the Indy Pro 2000 Championship on the Road to Indy pyramid.

She immediately claimed an eighth on debut at the Indianapolis Road Course, before returning to the top ten at Toronto, on her first street circuit experience.

Her 2023 sophomore season was therefore focused on continuing the progress, in her first full single seater season. Brewer showed stronger results on the familiar tracks towards the end of the season - proving her growing confidence. She had a personal best of eleventh, achieved at Indianapolis and Portland.

Following some tests in the Dallara IL-15, Lindsay signed with Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2024 Indy NXT season, in a huge step for her racing career. Despite the significantly demanding racecar - Indycar's second-tier - Brewer ran clean races, made improvements and closed the gap, with 15th as her best finishes at St Petersburg and Laguna Seca.

Her campaign unfortunately came to a halt midway through the schedule due to funding; however the Colorado-native is now set to make her racing return in a new journey in sports cars, with RAFA Racing partnering eXclaim Motorsport Group.

The weekend format will feature two 50-minute races, for six race meetings held at Sebring, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen International, Road America, Indianapolis Motor Speedway - and the season finale at Misano Circuit, Italy, which will host the 2025 World Finals.
