Lilou Wadoux set to race in 2025 ELMS with Richard Mille AF Corse

After groundbreaking achievements in FIA WEC, IMSA and SuperGT, Ferrari factory driver Lilou Wadoux will add one more top sports car championship to her resumé as she is set to compete in the 2025 European Le Mans Series in the #50 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3.

Ferrari factory driver Lilou Wadoux has been announced as part of the Richard Mille AF Corse driver line up for the 2025 European Le Mans Series, where she will pilot the #50 Ferrari 296 in the LMGT3 class.

One of the highest rated female drivers in the world, Wadoux has made history on numerous occasions - becoming the first ever woman to win a race in the FIA World Endurance Championship, when she took class victory at the 2023 6H of Spa, then claimed another historic achievement with the LMP2 class win at this year's 6H of the Glen, in her first IMSA success.

Her main program in 2024 however was the Japanese SuperGT, one of the world's top sports car series, which resulted in Wadoux becoming the first woman in nearly 30 years to step on the podium.

Since her debut in race cars in 2017, when she competed in the Peugeot 208 Racing Cup in France, Wadoux has made strides and climbed the ranking of global motorsport: her first big season was in 2021, when she took her first win in the Alpine Europa Cup and finished third in the championship, turning heads in a very competitive field. She won her first and only race in the Porsche Sprint Challenge at Le Mans, before being selected for the Richard Mille Racing LMP2 team, catapulted straight at the top of FIA WEC.

After a top-ten at debut at the 24H of Le Mans, she moved to the LMGTE class in 2022, having been selected by the Prancing Horse as the first ever female factory driver for the brand. With two podiums and a win it was another widely positive campaign for Wadoux, who adapted immediately well to the Ferrari 488 GTE platform.

Since then, the Frenchwoman has raced as part of the Ferrari factory team in most of the highest level GT competitions in the world: WEC, IMSA, GT World Challenge Europe, Intercontinental GT Challenge and, this year, in the Japanese premier series SuperGT.

Wadoux will now add another elite championship to her resumé: the European Le Mans Series, as she will share the #50 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 with gold-rated Riccardo Agostini and with bronze-rated Custodio Toledo. Operated by factory team AF Corse, the Richard Mille entry can aim to be a contender at the top of the class.

The GT3 class will expand from 11 to 13 cars, with six brands represented. The 2025 European Le Mans Series will feature a 6-event calendar, with the opening round scheduled at Circuit de Catalunya on 6th April. The 4H of Le Castellet will follow in May, before the 4H of Imola in July. Spa Francorchamps hosts the fourth round in August, while Silverstone will make its return on the calendar for the first time since 2019 for its September round.

Autódromo do Algarve em Portimão, Portugal, will host the season finale on 18th October.

Alongside Wadoux, three more female drivers have been announced in the LMGT3 class - Célia Martin, Michelle Gatting and Sarah Bovy will drive the Iron Dames Porsche, while Jamie Chadwick is set to make her debut in the LMP2 category in the IDEC Sport entry.
