Young American racer Kaylee Countryman is set to make her step up from Lucas Oil School of Racing to the 2025 USF Junior Championship season as she will join Exclusive Autosport.

Countryman, 14, has only started karting three years ago but has been making strides in both American and European karting competitions, before venturing into formula cars earlier this year, as she ran in the Lucas Oil School of Racing Formula Car Race Series - a US-based developmental series.

Kaylee has meanwhile started a testing programme with Exclusive Autosport and is looking to collect valuable mileage at the wheel of the Tatuus JR23 ahead of her racing debut in 2025 in the highly competitive USF Juniors, which has established itself as one of the crucial steps on the Road To Indy ladder.

“Joining Exclusive Autosport for the 2025 season in USF Juniors is a thrilling opportunity for me to learn and grow as a driver,” stated Countryman. “I started racing in 2022 and it feels like just yesterday when I stepped into my first kart."

"The team has been so welcoming, and I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity for my second year in cars. This is a big step, but I’m so excited to see what the team and I can accomplish this year under such an organized and professional community. I’d like to thank my family, friends, and sponsors who have helped me get where I am today.”

Countryman raced in the Briggs 206, Rotax, KA100 and X30 classes in her two seasons of karting, amassing seat time which laid the foundation to her transition to cars in 2024. After outings in closed cockpit cars, she eventually committed to single seaters in the Lucas Oil programme, honing her skills ahead of a full-time move to USF Juniors with top team Exclusive Autosport - which is planning an extensive off-season testing schedule for the US American teenager.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kaylee to the team and to the Exclusive Autosport USF Juniors program,” said Exclusive Autosport's Co-Owner and CEO Michael Duncalfe.

“Kaylee has been working really hard to continue her development in the car and we look forward to being part of that process and helping her to achieve her goals in motorsports."

"She is a fierce competitor and will thrive at EA and in the USF Juniors category. We look forward to working with Kaylee throughout the off-season and her debut in the USF Juniors Championship in the spring of 2025.”
