Jessica Hawkins is set to make her debut in the highly competitive GT World Challenge Europe, where she will contest the Endurance Cup aboard the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 operated by Comtoyou Racing.

Hawkins joined Aston Martin Formula 1 Team as a Driver Ambassador in 2021, and has expanded her role in 2024 as head of the F1 Academy program, mentoring Aston Martin F1 Academy representative Tina Hausmann.

Jessica has herself an impressive racing CV, including a race win in TCR UK and a podium finish in W Series; she then made global headlines as she became the first woman in more than five years to drive a modern Formula One car in her official test with Aston Martin in 2023. In 2024, she also became the first woman to drive the latest generation of F1 car in the team's first ever demo run with title partner Aramco.

After the demise of W Series, Hawkins competed in select rounds of BTCC, in TCR UK and in the ZEO Prototype Series - before making her GT3 debut in 2024 as she joined the Beechdean AMR team in British GT. The British racer made significant progress over her rookie partial campaign and scored two Silver-Am class podiums.

Hawkins is now set to make a further step up in her sportscar career as she joins Comtoyou Racing - the reigning Pro class 24 Hours of Spa winning team - in GT World Challenge Europe, with support from Aston Martin partners Arm and Valvoline Global Operations.

"I'm thrilled to be making my debut in GT World Challenge Europe with Comtoyou Racing this year", Hawkins commented. "Having previous experience with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 from my time in British GT and working with an established team like Comtoyou I hope will help going into my first season."

"I'd like to thank Arm and Valvoline for their support in helping me to progress to GTWC, it's an excellent next step in my racing career and will allow me the opportunity to work towards my ultimate dream of competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I'm looking forward to the challenge and can't wait to get racing at some new and familiar circuits."

The Endurance Cup features five rounds on the 2025 calendar, starting from the 6 Hours of Paul Ricard on 11-13 April. In May the series will contest the 3 Hours of Monza, before the flagship event of the SRO championships, the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa on 26-29 June. Three-hour rounds at Nurburgring and Barcelona will round out the schedule in August and October respectively.

She will pilot the #270 entry, alongside full-season drivers Ricardo Baptista and Rafael Suzuki.

"We are thrilled that Jessica will be progressing to racing in GT World Challenge Europe this year, thanks to support from Arm and Valvoline", Adam Carter, Aston Martin Head of Endurance Motorsport, added. "This is part of a long-term vision to give Jessica the platform and experience to put herself in a position where one day, she could fulfil her dream of racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans."
