Fueling dreams: with the introduction of the 'Supported by Iron Dames' talent incubator, the new initiative paves the way for future Iron Dames by offering a structured path toward professional development and new opportunities.

The groundbreaking all-female team Iron Dames has made strides in sportscar racing since its inception in 2018, bringing a trio of female drivers up into the echelons of endurance racing, with seven participation at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans to their name - and countless entries in the world's top sports car competitions.
In recent years, the project founded by visionary Deborah Mayer has expanded its presence into other forms of motorsport - from single seaters, to rallying as well as karting, with its crucial junior programme to foster the talents of tomorrow - to strengthen its mission of pursuing excellence, having proven how women not only can compete at top level, but can and will succeed when provided with the right support.
Iron Dames have become a synonym with passion and hard work in highly competitive environments - and the project is set to launch a new path for emerging talents: the "Supported by Iron Dames" programme is designed as a talent incubator for potential future Iron Dames, an initiative to provide promising female talents with resources, visibility and necessary support to progress.
Three athletes have been identified for this new launchpad, having strong potential, work ethics and alignment with the Iron Dames values: GT racer Laura van den Hengel - who completed in 2024 her first full season in GT competitions and is aiming to take it to the next level under the Supported by Iron Dames status; rally newcomer Emma Chalvin, and 9-year-old karter Ava Lawrence, who has also been recently selected as one of the F1 Academy "Discover Your Drive" initiative drivers in the Champions of the Future Academy Program series.
Acting as a talent incubator, the program paves the way for future Iron Dames by offering a structured path toward professional development and new opportunities.
Athletes who exhibit continuous growth, unwavering dedication, and a commitment to excellence will be considered for integration into the full Iron Dames roster, ensuring that advancement is based on merit and alignment with the initiative’s long-term goals.
Iron Dames' driver roster today features 16 drivers across motorsport disciplines, competing in GT racing, single seaters, rally and karting, under the banner of "Every Dream Matters".
The new groundbreaking program aims to ensure that the dreams of even more female talents will have the chance to reach their full potential.
