Young Bulgarian driver Alexandra Vateva is a talent to watch: after a winning debut in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux, an impressive performance in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland, and a standout season in the Porsche Cup Middle East with multiple class podiums, she will now compete in the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux with Q1 Trackracing.

As part of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland Talent Pool Program in 2024, Vateva progressed from racing a Porsche Cayman GT4 in 2023 to piloting a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) in 2024. In her debut campaign, she achieved significant success with Overdrive Racing, securing multiple podium finishes.

Building on her experience, she made a one-off appearance in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux at Spa-Francorchamps, where she clinched class victory in both races and dramatically won the battle for overall victory in race two.

She concluded her 2024 season with a standout performance in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland at Hockenheimring, winning the one-hour Endurance race alongside Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup racer Robert De Haan. Together, they piloted the #56 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car, operated by Laptime Performance.

Vateva then made history as the first-ever female driver to join the Porsche Cup Middle East with Lechner Racing in 2025, securing multiple class podiums and an overall top-five finish ahead of the final two rounds of the series alongside Formula 1 in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Now expanding her 2025 racing program, Alexandra has announced she will drive the #56 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) for Q1 Trackracing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.

“Glad that it’s almost time to race again", Team Manager Nicolas Vandierendonck said. "The new season will see Q1 competing with two rookies, Frank and Alexandra. Both have already shown their talent. The primary goal is to gain experience and evolve. Q1 is also ready and looking forward to the new season.”

The season kicks off in early May as a support series for the FIA World Endurance Championship at Spa-Francorchamps and will feature six race weekends alongside different series.
