Australian racer Aiva Anagnostiadis will make her F1 Academy debut in 2025 as she joins Hitech Grand Prix, thus tackling the all-female series for her first full-season in single seaters.

The 17 year old will represent the TAG Heuer brand, with the watchmaker becoming official timekeeper of the championship.

The partnership represents a new addition to the sponsor-liveries, following the series' grid expansion from 15 to 18 cars in 2025.

TAG Heuer became the first luxury brand to feature on an F1 car in 1969, and now adds F1 Academy to its portfolio, with a car livery and race suit featuring the watchmaker logo in white, red and black, and the phrase 'It's not a man's world anymore'.

“I'm beyond excited for the 2025 season", Anagnostiadis said. "This is an amazing opportunity, and working with a team like Hitech GP and a sponsor like TAG Heuer is a dream come true. I’m ready to chase my goals, and fight for every opportunity to win!"

Anagnostiadis competed in karting both nationally and internationally, making significant progress between 2018 and 2024. Following in the footsteps of her mother - a former karting driver - Aiva raced in the Australian championship, as well as in the Rotax Pro Tour where she had good success in the Light category. She had also contested the SKUSA Supernationals in the Mini class and was part of the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games, representing Australia in the Karting Sprint Senior discipline.

In 2024, she embarked on an F4 testing program, which eventually led to her racing debut in the Indian F4 Championship with the Goa Aces JA Racing team. She immediately impressed with a top-ten finish on debut, securing seventh and ninth place at Madras, before continuing her streak of top-ten results at the Chennai Street Circuit.

Anagnostiadis made steady progress throughout the season, battling at the front by the third round and scoring her first top-five finish at Madras. She ended the season on a high at Kari Motor Speedway with two sixth-place finishes, concluding her first F4 championship in tenth place overall.

At the start of 2025, Anagnostiadis made her European racing debut, joining the Formula Winter Series grid at Portimao. The Australian gained valuable track time in a highly competitive field and secured a top-20 finish in Race 1.

She then continued her preparation program in the EuroCup-4 Spanish Winter Championship, where she continued to build up her confidence banking vital knowledge at Jerez and Portimao.

In another important step for her career, Aiva Anagnostiadis now secures a spot on the F1 Academy grid, joining Nicole Havrda at Hitech Grand Prix.

"The values of F1 Academy perfectly reinforce the commitments and ideals of TAG Heuer where innovation and performance are on par with our egalitarian spirit and our openness to all", Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer commented. "We are honoured to continue our indelible connection to motor racing by becoming Official Partner and Official Timekeeper of F1 Academy"

With the first collective test just completed at Jerez, the 2025 season is scheduled to start at Shanghai, China, for the first of the seven rounds on March 22-23.

The calendar then features rounds at Jeddah, Miami, Montreal – where it will race for the first time – before the only European round in Zandvoort. Singapore and Las Vegas will host the final rounds after the summer break.
